Forget Me Not by Julie Soto
5.0
I usually don’t like second chance romances because the guy does something stupid. But I really loved this one!
Ama is a wedding planner who doesn’t believe in marriage. Elliot is a grumpy florist who is a romantic on the inside. They used to work together on wedding but after Ama broke Elliot’s heart they haven’t spoken to each other since. Until they have to work on a high profile wedding together.
Ama is crazy but in a good way I love her drive to be the best at her job and that she really cares about the people and wedding she plans. I can understand where her trauma over relationships comes from with a mom like hers. Elliot is so grumpy but I like that we had his point of view to see how he’s just awkward and doesn’t know how to talk to people. These two make such a perfect pair. The chemistry was so good and the spicy scene were spiiiiicy. The ending was so amazing and I love the last line it really tied up the book.
I can’t believe it has taken me this long to finally read Julie Soto’s work but I’m excited to dive into the second book. Julie is also the sweetest human ever I had such a lovely time meeting her and a book signing she is so hilarious.
