It feels like the closer I get to the end of the series the more I'm not impressed with the books. I ran into the same issue I had with the third one which is the pacing of the plot. There were many many points where I was getting very bored and felt that things kind of dragged out way too long. And while things picked back up at the end I was just already have taken out of the story. There's only one book left in the series but I don't know if I have the mental energy to do it.
