"If you don't have time to read, you don't have the time or the tools to write."

Stephen King's part memoir/part textbook on writing was so good! His advice wasn't too technical, and it was nice that he included so many personal stories about how he got started in between the writing advice as well. The quote above was one of the top tidbits that really stuck with me. I would have to agree with him that to write, you must read as well.
