This was entertaining with emotional sprinkles added on top!
I’ve been trying to read more from both Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward since I really enjoyed Hate Notes by them - so I thought I’d give their individual works a go. This was fun with lots of laughing-out-loud moments but I guess it wasn’t my favorite. I wasn’t obsessed with this couple and I felt the book was slightly dragging towards the end. The chapters set in the past, although quite emotional, didn’t help as much with convincing me of the present relationship’s dynamic.
It wasn’t bad as a book or anything, just not something I totally loved.
Still enjoyable and easy to read overall though! :)
