Happy Place? More like Emotional Torture place. Do not be fooled by the title of the book. It is anything but happy. Kinda. OK fine, it does have happy elements but yk 75% of it is emotional roller-coaster that makes you wanna jump of a hill. 🤷🏽‍♀️
For those who don't know, second-chance romances are my jam. I love the trope so much and add in a bit of miscommunication? THAT'S A PERFECT COMBO RIGHT THERE.

I had been putting off reading this book for months and finally picked it up n I definitely don't regret it. It was really so beautiful. And had me swooning n ugly crying the whole time. Life had been so gloomy to me the past couple of days and this book kinda healed and made me feel a lot better.

Harriet and Wyn were such a breathe of fresh air. They have this special bond that didn't deter even when they weren't together. And probably that is what held them together. Even when it looked like they had given up, they actually hadn't.

One of the best thing I loved about this book is definitely the found family. That is one if my favourite things in book universes. And looking at their friend group was so amazing. And I could feel how deep they all had a bond from the start.

The ending was bit rushed. Like I would have seen a bit more growth. Other than that I loved it. Definitely one of the best read of the year for me.
