An incredible, sometimes harrowing ride, this second installment in The Fifth Yanai will leave you breathless. Once again, we follow Ohkai and Velyr on their journeys of self-discovery. Fitzgerald's haunting prose sucks readers into a scarred world full of people desperate for hope. While I don't want to disclose too much, this book had one of the best endings I've ever read. I cannot wait for the next installment in this dark fantasy series.
