A Kiss for Midwinter by Courtney Milan
4.75
do you ever feel like a book was written to appeal to you specifically? lost my mind over this one it was so good
reread 12/7/23: holy fuck..... this book has become even more relevant to me since i first read it, and i cried so hard this time. do i have to write courtney milan a letter telling her that a holiday novella she wrote a decade ago has made me committed to going back to school and finishing my degree, and being more appreciative of my parents ????? i will say in a very objective way, the progression of the romance could be better BUT i think it's because of the novella length more than anything else. there weren't any flaws present, it's more a thing of what wasn't there that could have been there in a longer format. but this is a quick (devastating for me) winter read that i really, really love. i want 3958394 more things like this. courtney... ms. milan.......... both of the characters are so important to me as individuals, and watching them fall in love with each other is so good. and weirdly.. healing. thank u
