The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon
5.0
read 80% of this in one sitting it was just soooo much fun! truly somehow condensed most of what i loved about Gravity’s Rainbow into a very succinct and dense comedy. pynchon is a master of symbols and really funny character names. i loved driblettes message that the meaning of the play was in how it was interpreted rather than what’s written on page. and how that fits in with the overall paranoia of the book.
