Always Never Yours by Emily Wibberley

5.0

I love this book! I have been seeing a lot of my friends and people on bookstagram read this and most of them enjoyed it so I decided to give it a go. And let me tell you, the first mention of Romeo and Juliet had me sold. Iʼm a sucker for Romeo and Juliet, itʼs one of my favorite Shakespeare classics and the fact that the whole play that was going on in this book was based on it had. me. sold.

I have a little mixed-feelings about Megan. But also, I relate to her A LOT in my daily life. Sheʼs the kind of person that is selfless, puts everyone elseʼs happiness before hers that sometimes in the end, sheʼs doomed. Thatʼs me. I love taking care of people, and I do, especially with my friends. But often, I forgot about my own happiness, my own worth. What I deserve for myself. Itʼs refreshing to have a character to relate to.

Dear Owen Okita, gimme a proof that Cosima is at least real because even after I finished the book, I still DO NOT BELIEVE that Cosima is even real. And I oop- Also, I can totally imagine Gavin Leatherwood as Owen? I donʼt know why but I just do? Like a picture of him pops up in my head everytime I read of Owen? I donʼt know. Maybe Iʼm biased because heʼs my favourite actor but... yep.

Overall, I loved this book and definitely would re-read it again sometime in the future. Onto my next read!
