I'd give this a 3.5 if I could, but I don't round up. This was just good enough to keep me interested in the next one, but nothing too amazing by itself. I would be willing to bet that this would be a more entertaining book for someone who knows more about the 40K universe. However, this was recommended to me as an intro to 40K, and it does an okay job at that.
