Definitely my least favorite of the series. I read this last because I felt I wasn't going to enjoy it as much as the rest and I was right. The premise is great, I live for a runaway MC and the idea of the future partner saving him but rejecting the bond at first seems intriguing.

The problem is that besides how rushed the plot became and the instalust element which I'm not into, it felt as if the omega MC's love was onesided until the end. The alpha MC had a moment of realization, but it was too weak. He wasn't even sure about

saving the MC, if it weren't because another insisted the omega MC would've been left to his abusive family's wishes, alpha MC knew about that but still chose to leave him to them because it was his "decission"

. It pissed me off.

I didn't feel the connection between them, only onesided and unrequited. I liked the omega MC and his story, which was the reason I pushed through. He just deserved a better partner. This was a letdown, which explains the 2 stars.
