A book that has the same message as Harry Potter and a bunch of other books, that Love Triumphs over Fear. However, since this book is so emotionally raw, the message is told very powerfully. Because you really feel the fear, you also really feel the love.

It starts out slow, but then gets going quick. I very much enjoyed my time with Red Rising, and can't wait to start the sequel!
