Recently, I read an INCREDIBLE book about WWII and needed a severe pick-me-up with very light-hearted banter and all things love. Therefore, here comes an Elsie Silver novel. I had no expectations, and I'm glad I didn't. I found this very eh. 

With that said, the ending had one of my least favorite tropes of all time in romance (no spoilers, though!), so I had to rate it down because I was frustrated by that turn of events. All-in-all, it was a decent read and gave me a few laughs, but to me, this book is likely forgettable.
