The Truths We Hold: An American Journey by Kamala Harris
4.0
approx 5.5 hrs
Someone recommended this book as a good way to learn more about Kamala Harris when she became the Democratic nominee. Much of what she said still applies, which was interesting. As if she'd written it recently and not several years ago.
It was a nice balance of policy and personal stories and how one shapes the other. And it reminded me of why I liked her before she became VP (and kind of disappeared for much of the term).
Note: I'm surprised nobody I'm connected with here has read this book. But I didn't realize it existed until recently, so maybe they just need to know it's available.
