This series is already so good. I loved the first one, and this one picked up differently than how I expected, but in the best way. Alyssa was such an incredible narrator and as always, I loved the changing POV's throughout the book. It kept things interesting and I was always wondering what was going to happen next. What was interesting about this one too, was the fact that, there were a slew of new characters that weren't in the first book. That, being said, they didn't feel random or out of place. Somehow they effortlessly fit into the story and I loved that so much. I also feel like we got to see more of the world Cinda has created. After the ending, I'm so curious to see what crazy turn of events will come next. She truly knows how to do a fantasy series and I am never disappointed.
