The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis

4.0

This is the 3rd book of the series that I read with my daughter. This may be the book from the Narnia series that I have enjoyed the most. Story telling was the most consistent. And the slow parts didn't last too long. I gave this book 4 stars on its own merits, rather than out of obligation from my daughter. This story was a refreshing change after being disappointed with "The Magicians Nephew and" and "The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe". Like all Lewis' books, it has some issues with awkward and clumsy wording and some odd descriptions and language thrown in. But, overall, this story seemed to be best put-together of the 5 I've now read.
