Texas Twist by Sara York

This just has way to may of my pet peeves for me to enjoy it. I hate cheating, I hate insta-love, and this is just absurdly one big soap opera of both of those things. Erick and Sterling go from Erick being in love with someone else and Sterling acting as if he hated everything to do with Erick one day to the next them being head over heels for each other and Sterling barrelling out of the closet. That would have just been obnoxious, but add in both of the "stable" relationships claiming to love the person they're with, but then being unable to stop thinking about the other person in the other couple...yeah, I'm done. Sure when they all finally cave and sleep together it's a sexy scene, but I hated all of it. This is just a recipe for disaster and their claims of love felt all the more unrealistic as they then betrayed those claims almost immediately.

I read this book years ago, back when I first started reading MM, and I remember liking this series. Now, I've read so much more that this just was blah. I didn't love the writing style all that much either. It's pretty simplistic. I always thought I'd someday finish this series and that was my plan, but this was just a struggle to read through and I know it's just going to get worse.
