I will say I enjoyed this more than I expected to. B Sobjakken does quick, super spicy novellas well so I’ve read pretty much everything of hers that’s on KU and had a fun time so I obviously picked this one up. Can’t say these niche shminks do anything for me, but this was fun nonetheless.  This was my first time reading May Alder though so I’ll have to check out their other works.
