I have loved Tamora Pierce since I was a kid and I still love her at 34. I have read all of the Tortall books over and over again (reread The Immortals at least 10 times), yet somehow I missed Kel's books! I just finished this one and I am so in love! Pierce's writing is fantastic. Her world and her characters are so wonderfully diverse and well-thought out. Love!
