The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow

5.0

“It is a sad fact of life that if a young woman is unlucky enough to come into the world without expectations, she had better do all she can to ensure she is born beautiful.”

I LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS BOOK. If you’ve been aching for another Jane Austen novel, this will wholly satisfy you. Oh, my goodness.

This story follows the shy, introverted, plain younger sister, Mary, as she tries to find love. Along the way, she experiences many heartaches, but learns the wait was worth it.

It had a little bit of all the Jane Austen novels in one. Beautiful. Perfect.
