Y’all…. I absolutely positively serendipitously loved every second of this book. Between the hilarious banter, relatable well developed characters, & *actually* interesting plot line - I couldn’t have asked for a better fun, cozy fall read. I was completely immersed in this world throughout the entire read. The romance was definitely a slow burn but the grumpy/sunshine dynamic perfectly underscored the development of that relationship. When I found out this was the first book in a series I almost LOST MY SHIT from relief after finishing because if I was never able to read about these characters again I would be crushed lmao. I heavily relate to the FMC Evie, a clumsy optimistic bad bitch with a smart ass mouth. The Villains seemingly cold and brutal character fit right into Evies’ chaos as he was swept into her, breaking down the literal AND metaphorical walls he hides his true self behind. I’ll only be referred to as “Little Tornado” indefinitely.
