Penny Reid writes a fantastic character - all of them, and she writes witty and fun scenes and situations. But most of all, I do like the characters. I have read a few Reid's books and the characters are always something refreshing. Importantly, the dialogue is quite crisp and at times even surprisingly intelligent - one doesn't get that often in contemporary romance - so, there's that. I really enjoyed this quick late night read.
