This is a cute, fluffy, Halloween rom com. Honestly, I enjoy potato chip books, but this was cringy more than cute. The FMC went from “functional adult who has a job and likes Halloween” to “is acting/being portrayed as a middle school girl” and it was off putting. The characters and plot were extremely simple and it got to the point it was extremely cringy.  This isn’t terrible for what it is, but I won’t be reading the next book and this won’t be a reread for me.
