It's been a while since a series gripped me so immediately as this. I managed to get issue one for free and was hooked from there. A big part of the appeal is the strength of the writing, in particular the range of, often bizarre, characters who all have depth, heart and legitimate emotions. Couple that with an interesting setting, plenty of humour, action and intrigue, some surprising twists, and the truly phenomenal artwork and the series is off too a fantastic start. I'll be recommending it to people for a long time to come.
