I have waited to read this until the next book had come out in paperback so I could binge read them as I just knew I was going to love the series, and I was not wrong!
Oraya is a human brought up in a vampire world, she was rescued by the vampire king when her home was attacked and her family killed. Years later she has grown up living with the vampires in her Fathers castle, but it is time for her to enter trails to win a wish granted by their goddess Nyaxia. As a human Oraya has very little chance in these trails, but she is determined. It is during this that she meets Raihn, who changed everything.
This was just so delicious in so many ways, vampires, trials, spice, secrets, found family, betrayals, friendships, wings! I just loved all aspects of this book and this world and I am so excited that there is so much more to come from it.
This is a must read for all my vampire and romantasy loving girlies out there!
