Rick Riordan merges old Greek mythology with modern storytelling in a brilliant matter. His books are page-turning and full of lore and old, somewhat known myths. I find the books suitable for children and adults alike, and "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" is without doubt one of my favourite series. Too bad they could not turn it into a worthy movie.
