Deaf Rep, I think YES

I enjoyed this book. It was light hearted, humorous, and an easy read. There were many parts that I had made predictions, considering other books I have read, but this book took a different path. I enjoyed the banter and inclusion of the side characters.

I am a Deaf person, and it is HARD finding good representation. Remi is Deaf and wears a Cochlear Implant. Emmy briefly points out when he does, or does not wear his processor, and why. It is such a small detail, that I cannot help, but love. I must say, most Authors would never be so detailed about their Deaf characters. Needless to say. I NEED A BOOK WITH REMI DARLING AS THE MC.

I may be a little biased about my opinion of Remi, but hats off to Emmy Sanders and her Accurate Deaf/ASL representation. I especially appreciate the note at the very beginning regarding ASL.

this might be a little harsh to say, but honestly, fuck that Raccoon
