I love Rainbow Rowell and have generally loved everything she’s ever written. This book had its moments for sure but the motivations of the characters often confounded me. I feel like everyone in the book understood something about the main character Shiloh that I just wasn’t grasping at all. It was weird and perplexing. The writing is fantastic as usual, I just didn’t get a really true sense of what made her tick.
