The Shepherd's Life: A People's History of the Lake District by James Rebanks

3.0

I enjoyed this book. It was a lot of fun. Rebank plays a bit fast and loose. At the beginning he sounds like a gruff horny handed son of toil. Then he's off to Oxford and I can't but think the first part of the book laid it on a bit thick. That said it's a great look at a part of the world that I grew up nearby.
