I read this not because i believe in god but because i found it interesting to know how the churches views on love would be. And i gotta say it’s truly beautiful in a way. I will not rate it higher than 2.5 stars, since i don’t really think that the themes discussed in this text were enough to fully reflect on the relation the church has to love, but i was positively surprised by how well Benedict wrote and with how much passion he brings his message of love across.

Side note: i think it’s also important to mention that I do not any heteronormative and partly homophobic views any members of the church have, also a reason why i didn’t give a higher rating
