this book would have been so much better without gage’s pov because good lord, he’s so disgusting. the way he treats women is just nasty but we’re supposed to swoon over him because he happens to be a passably good father? i don’t think so. 

also, does he even like bailey? like genuinely? all he thinks about is her breasts, her ass, her lips—she’s nothing but a hole to him. 

and that, ladies and gentlemen, is not romantic.
