Considering how sad both the main characters were, this story was surprisingly wholesome.

Nijou is a people-pleaser and is becoming increasingly overwhelmed with his inability to β€œlet others down.”

Toomi is struggling with his fear of abandonment along with trying to make ends meet.

I enjoyed their story!

There is also a small side story that wasn’t necessarily, but I liked it more than I thought it would.
