No One Has To Know by Carin Hart
2.0
Type of read: Lunch/Weekend Read.
What made me pick it up: I downloaded 'No One Has to Know' during the Stuff Your Kindle event.
Overall rating: I love reading complicated stories with extensive worlds and diverse, complex characters, but sometimes, a girl needs something quick, easy, and smutty. I'm not above saying that I enjoy a good smut reading session, so when it came to Stuff Your Kindle Day and the goal is basically to download as many books as I possibly can, 'No One Has to Know' ended up in my Kindle library. Here's the thing, it filled time while I was sitting in an airport lounge waiting on a flight that had already been cancelled for two days. Is this book well written? No. Does the storyline or any of the material make any sense? No. Are they two of the most unhinged, unrealistic characters ever? Yes. Is there anything that could have made this book better? Yes, a proper editor and narrowing down a few of the kinks, it doesn't have to be a kitchen sink. Would I recommend it? Not, unless you want to laugh at how unbelievably unsexy a smut read can be. The main reason this is getting two stars over one star is that it at least kept me entertained and some of the spicy scenes were well written.
Reader's Note: 'No One Has to Know' includes themes of stalking, kidnapping, sex, use of weapons during sex, burglary/attempted street mugging, misuse of power, and age-gap romance.
