The Puzzle Wood by Rosie Andrews

3.0

I didn't dislike this but it did feel like ingredients were missing from it - there was an ambiguousness to the writing so you were always a little bit in the dark even when the reveal was made just because nothing was clearly stated. I didn't really love what the final answer ended up being but I was glad Arthur and Georgie and Catherine were the ones standing on the other side of it. There was this sense of too much going on just because of how many deaths there were and how they weren't even really all related (like Harris and Dowle, cursorily sure but also not really a part of the thing). It had potential and some of it definitely felt a little squandered unfortunately.
