the first 50 pages were interesting, then pages 50-150 were terribly slow. i understand that this was intentional and built the character, but i didn’t really enjoy reading it. the ending, however, WOW JUST WOW. the plot twist really did come out of nowhere and i liked that the book is written in first person past tense.
