A big let down following up on Dead Silence. Holy slow paced! It took nearly 200 pages for anything to really start, then even that dragged on a little. Even with that the epilogue felt rushed.
Characters were meh for the most part, not a whole lot of depth going on.
The setting and idea is really cool. Felt like the marker from Dead Space. I’m a little let down, maybe that’s just because her first book was such a banger. I’ll still check out whatever else she writes.
