And we're almost done. Only one more novella to go. It's bittersweet reaching the end of such a long seires.
Although I've rated it 5 stars after my reread, I admit, nostalgia has affected that rating, so, to be fair, here are a few things I wasn't fond of: spoilers duh.
The sub plot with Adam just dissapearing when convenient definitely became annoying, because we don't know what happened to him, even at the end of the book, he just reapears and we just have to accept that. Something else I hated was the absurd makeout session Warner initiated upon seeing Ella again, to try to get her memories back, that was so unnecessary😭 made me feel like I was interrupting something intimate that I had no buisness knowing about, so that wasn't great. My last biggest grief is simply our lack of information. I understand the MC's well enough, but the world around them seemed so unwritten that it was hard to understand why the characters were doing certian things they were doing. overall, I did not hate this book, but if I had read it for the first time at my age and not a reread, it definitely would have a slightly lower rating. I degress, a fine book, I will say, the relationships between characters does not belong in YA but that's my personal opinion, still odd to read with it being YA dystopia, but alas
