I won this book in a Giveaway and I haven’t read #1, so this was read as a stand alone. I didn’t notice any problems with not having read the first one.

There we’re multiple strands of the story line that don’t get tied up and I’m not sure I was overly impressed with the ending. However, this was an easy book to read with lots of action and crossed love stories.
