This was a really fun read! The banter was so good, and it was impressive for a debut novel. But I feel like the focus was more on kai and paedyn building a relationship than the actual storyline and relationships with other characters. This made Adena’s death underwhelming (when it seems like it was made to be the opposite) because we only got glimpses of her.
