This novella does so much with so few pages. The gorgeous imagery and fascinating characters really brought this fantasy world to life. The writing is sumptuous and perfectly crafted. I loved how the story was told through the objects and the memories attached to them. This idea lets the author get super creative with the worldbuilding.

I'm particularly impressed with how well-balanced this novella is - it's the ideal amount of intricate details, but with some parts being vague enough to leave you dying for more novellas. The emotions portrayed are striking, again with so few pages! Everything about this is just absolute excellence.

Eagerly awaiting the next novella. I'm not sure how many are planned but honestly, I would be happy with like...10 more.
