How to Age Disgracefully by Clare Pooley

4.0

I loved this book! I’ve read Clare Pooleys other two books and loved them so I had high hopes and this didn’t disappoint! Like her first two books, this books focuses on a cast of characters who are all thrown into a situation together (synopsis below). I loved how this focused on older women refunding their place and value in society, it was warm and uplifting without pandering to worn stereotypes - these women (and men) are brilliant!

As with all Clare’s books the writing is wonderful and will have you completely hooked from the first page. There’s joy, humour and wisdom in these pages and it’s not to be missed!

P.S. If you’ve read the People on Platform Five keep an eye out for an Easter egg 🥚
