What flames could not consume,
never shall be extinguished

This “low stakes” fantasy was exactly that—low stakes. While the characters were likeable and this story was definitely heartwarming and non-anxiety inducing, the plot was slightly too slow and uneventful for me. I totally understand the hype of this book though, but the lack of suspense and a deeply engaging plot was not for me.
