Rafe by Rebekah Weatherspoon

4.0

THE SMUT IN THIS BOOK HAD ME CLUTCHING MY PEARLS! I’m not going to lie usually I skip over sex scenes in romance books (gasp I know) but these ones were so juicy that I was tuned in. The chemistry between Sloan and Rafe was just everything like they were on 100 the first time they spoke to each other. They way they couldn’t control themselves and were hooking up by Rafe’s second day on the job was kind of iconic. I’m the #1 hater for slow burns so I couldn’t be happier. Their dynamic was just so cute I loved seeing the man in the relationship taking on the main caregiver role and the woman bringing home the bacon. A hot, tall man with tattoos who’s actually a sweetheart who cooks and bakes in his free time = my type of a man. Rafe I will miss you. Sloan was just the girl boss of the century she was Cristina Yang x100. Avery and Addison were the cutest little girls and I just wanted to pinch their little cheeks. I really liked Rebekah Weatherspoon incorporated them into the story and their personality really shined. If Sloan is named after Mark Sloan aka McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy then Rebekah Weatherspoon that’s very queenie of you.
