I like my romances to be a *bit* more consensual. This grew on me by the end, but I wish she’d given him an explicit yes in one of their first three times. It left me feeling a bit icky. Also, this girl had ZERO fight in her. Not my type of heroine.

The plot is interesting, and I am intrigued by this post-apocalyptic world Lucas is building. The ending had me interested enough to keep going, but I won’t miss this couple.
