Clara and Henry are the perfect contrast to each other and it’s about bloody time we got to see their romance play out. Henry is the full package.. wings, shadows, tattoos, reads romance books, has trauma, is grumpy and love starved.

The Vale involved a bit of a suspension of disbelief. There are also babies and marriages popping up left, right and centre. This makes sense for the final instalment for the Savoie family but did feel slightly rushed and unrealistic. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this: the love story, the sisterhood and the bromance (guys game night is so wholesome).

It feels bittersweet that this is the last of the sisters and perhaps the last Stay a Spell book. I hope we get some side characters or novellas, this world has become my comfort series for sure and I don’t know what I’ll do without it.
