Whilst I really enjoyed this book, and it was an easy read, it didn't blow me away like other Trudi Canavan books have done.
Everything was wrapped up neatly, which in a way I appreciate, because who loves loose ends, but I feel like there could have been more conflict. More emotion! When something devastating happened I didn't even cry, because I don't think it grabbed me enough.
That all said, I did really like it! It was great to have this story to go through with old familiar and loved characters, and see where they had got to in life.
