I really wanted to like this book, as I love most of Suzanne's other work, but I just couldn't. The head-hopping was distracting in this one, probably because she hopped between so many characters. The concept was interesting, but the book was so dark with such terrible things happening to so many people all the time. Violent and disturbing acts overwhelmed the story. It was hard to finish. I liked many of the characters, but I doubt I will read any more of this particular series.
