This lived up to the hype. If you’re a fan of gays and Victorian romance you might love this. There’s fun Robin Hood themes, the story builds well, and the “enemies to lovers” arc feels organic. Both MMCs were lovable and I love that one was a plus size man. The side female characters were well written, distinguished, and lovable too!

The audiobook is lovely, though I didn’t enjoy Sir John Hart’s voice. It was a little… fumfery? barbley? extra grumpy garbly British. Maybe British people might find that sexy or normal. Aside from his voice, I loved how the rest was narrated!

For some reason the book is not available outside of audiobook right now. I hope that gets resolved soon since I’d love to reread or relisten sometime!
