Happy Place by Emily Henry

5.0

No, you don't understand. Harriet and Wyn mean everything to me until I get over this book.

I loved Happy Place from the get-go. The writing is beautiful, the way love, friendship, and family are explored and expressed made my heart feel full and also ache, and the characters are imperfect but likable, and they felt very real.

I feel like I got to know Harriet very well and she's relatable in many different ways. I also felt her pain, her love, her struggle, her longing; everything. I really connected with her, that's how good the writing was for me. Don't even get me started on Wyn... the man has my heart. I know they're just words on a page, but I love them so much.

I don't have anything bad to say about this book, I'm still on that high, so I can't think of anything I didn't like about it. This was my first Emily Henry read and you get I'm checking out everything else by her. I smell a new favorite author...
