A slightly average YA. Pacing is very slow to begin with and then lots happen in the last hundred pages. Main relationship grows nicely. There is some cliched writing tropes- another YA novel containing people letting out breaths they didn't realise they were holding but nothing terrible about this book. I am going to read the next book.
